Gas Detector Xgard


The Crowcon Xgard range offers a versatile selection of fixed-point gas detectors designed to meet the varied gas detection needs across global industries. 

These detectors are widely used in water treatment, oil and gas, power generation, research facilities, and manufacturing installations.

Intrinsically Safe (I.S.) and Flameproof (Exd) versions are available, with case options including high-grade alloy, stainless steel, or chemically resistant GRN polymer.

Poison-resistant pellistors are suitable for detecting all flammable substances, including hydrocarbons, hydrogen, ammonia, jet fuel, leaded petrol, and vapours containing halogens.

Electrochemical sensors are employed to detect a wide range of toxic gases and oxygen.

Thermal conductivity sensors are available for monitoring the percentage volume concentrations of gases.


High-temperature models are available for hot environments (up to 150°C).
